Spring Awakening

How are we already in May?! I swear the new year just started. Time has been flying, and since it’s been a minute since I last checked in here, I figured it was the perfect time for a little life update
Winter = Full Hermit Mode
Every year after the holidays, I fully embrace my “stay inside and live a cozy life” era—and this winter was no exception. Think: work, home, repeat… with a lot of comfort in between.
My biggest obsession? The Traitors. I got completely hooked and then spiraled (in the best way) into watching the UK, Australian, and New Zealand versions too. There’s just something about the strategy, the mind games, and the way people navigate the game that keeps me locked in.
I also leaned into my usual winter reading habits. I picked up Alex Cross Must Die by James Patterson, and started When in Rome by Sarah Adams—which I highly recommend if you’re in the mood for something light and feel-good.
And randomly… I became a puzzle person? I finished a Harry Potter-themed puzzle and even tackled my first 1,000-piece cityscape (which felt like a major life accomplishment, honestly). My ideal night became putting on The Traitors, working on a puzzle, and fully leaning into the cozy vibes. Not mad about it.
Another Year Older (But Make it Cute)
The end of February will always be one of my favorite times of year—longer days and my birthday? Yes please.
I turned 29 this year (still processing that one), and it was honestly such a perfect day. I got dressed up and went out to a really nice dinner, had my favorite ice cream cake (non-negotiable), and even lucked out with amazing weather. I ended the day with a walk, which felt like the softest, happiest way to soak it all in.
So far, 29 is feeling really good—and I have a feeling it’s going to be a special year
That’s the current life update! Things have been pretty low-key lately, which is why I’ve been a little quieter on here—but with spring finally here and warmer days ahead, I’m so ready to get back out, make plans, and romanticize life in a whole new season.
I already have a few fun things coming up, and I can’t wait to share more soon
